This is a plastic injection tooling for automotive ‘s door side parts. which need right dimension and very small deformation. Less than 1mm in around 680mm length. This part’s shrinkage is different from normal one. Almost 30~50% of normal shrinkage. we made prototype molds to test it and finalize the shrinkage so that we can get the right dimension products.Normally it is around 0.4%, for this parts it is around 0.22%

1. For this mold, the first importance is the shrinkage. most of plant will use the wrong shrinkage. Finally they always press customer to accept it as it. or make bigger deformation to get the length. for this kind of parts, our engineers has a lot of experience. we studied a lot of kind material and different shape design for different shrinkage.
2. In order to persuade customer about the shrinkage problem. we made prototype mold with similar shape to make the samples to test it. It verified our experience right.
3. PC+ABS+GF10, this material, if we can mold well then we can get good experience and no deformation. Otherwise it will big deformation and ugly cosmetic.
4. we have a lot of experience about this kind of parts. we help our customers get good dimension and cosmetic.
5. Since the parts is around 680mm so that we devided the core inserts into two pcs. that help us shorten the manufacture time.
6. Cooling system is important for controling the deformation. we put different temperature in different area so that the deformation are right.
